The Student National Medical Association (SNMA) is the oldest and largest student-run organization focused on the needs and concerns of medical students of color. The SNMA chapter at UCSF is geared towards increasing diversity in the School of Medicine and towards meeting the needs of minority students: ALL UCSF medical students who are interested in this mission are welcome. We believe that a diverse membership can only help SNMA work toward its goals. Our activities range from working with UCSF Office of Admissions to increase minority matriculation to hosting student social events to conducting hypertension screenings in our local community.

This is website is a hub for prospective and current students to become familiar with the UCSF chapter's goals and activities, to get a feel for campus life, to access important resources. We hope that you use the site to enrich your medical school experience and to become an active member of the UCSF SNMA community!
