About Us


Women in Life Sciences (WILS) is an organization run by graduate student and postdoctoral fellows that is dedicated to supporting women graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty and staff at UCSF by organizing networking, mentoring, and career-building activities. Men and women are both welcome to attend all meetings and events.

WiLS Leadership team meetings are on the first Thursday of every month, in Genentech Hall in a classroom on the 2nd floor (room GH-S204 or similar), at 5pm. Email wilsucsf@gmail.com or candace.britton@ucsf.edu to confirm the time and place, or to get the google hangout link to join remotely.  No need to RSVP, drop by to join us! We are always looking for UCSF students and postdocs to join the WiLS leadership team to help us plan events, so please stop by!
